Exigo Care supports BOCA Football Club. Boca FC is a non-profit organization whose mission is to:
- Provide youth with organized competition in a safe environment.
- Bring our youth closer together through common interest in sportsmanship and competition.
- Instil the values of education and religion.
- Acquaint the players with the fundamentals of the game rules, dribbling, running, kicking and tackling.
- Teach sportsmanship, discipline and love of the game and respect for others.
- Encourage the players to maintain satisfactory grades in school/ university and to emphasize the importance of keeping a proper relationship and balance between scholastic and athletic endeavours.
We started from humble beginnings of a team with just 10 players in the senior category, today we have close to 50 players in our Senior category and 70 players in our Junior category.
The aims and objectives have also evolved to meet the needs and demands of our players, a lot of our youngsters are from previously disadvantaged homes and live below the poverty line. Through help of Exigo Industries we have been making small but meaningful contributions to many youngster’s lives. We happy to announce the following achievements:
1) Purchased 40 youth their first pair of boots.
2) Three Senior players came through the system and are currently employed by the company.
3) One of the Senior players have been given the opportunity to study and will be fulfilling their dreams of studying Supply Chain Management.
4) Holiday work for 3-4 of our U 18s has been arranged.
For Mandela Day, Exigo Care is running a competition. We are calling on our moms to nominate a school in need. We will then donate a month’s worth of sanitary pads to each girl in the winning school. This initiative will run for the entire July. To enter, leave a comment bellow.
