On the couch with Jessica: The wetness indicator
The line on a pregnancy test; the line on a COVID antibody test; the line on an ovulation test etc. All these lines on tests indicate a positive or a negative result. In the same way, the wetness indicator is a line that indicates when your #babynappies are wet.
A wetness indicator is a pH indicator which changes colour depending on the acidity or alkalinity in the urine that is in the nappy. These lines appear yellow when the nappy is dry, but the slightly alkaline pH of urine causes its colour to change from yellow to blue. This is a useful feature which can save you time, money and spare you unnecessary stress.
Hi Baby Premium Nappies and Pull Ups have a super absorbent core keeping baby’s skin dry and safe from exposure to excess moisture. This is wonderful, but the nappies are so absorbent that you can’t always tell whether or not baby has passed urine. The wetness indicator will change colour providing the caregiver with peace of mind that baby has passed urine; or prompting them to be alert to the fact that there has been some action in that nappy.
All this talk of a wetness indicator has got my eyes all teary when I reflect on how 2020 has been an absolutely crazy year!
When you become a reseller for Exigo Care you are not an agent or a sales representative, but rather a small business owner. As resellers, we start our own nappy business in our designated areas to ensure the availability of Hi Baby Premium Nappies and Pull Ups locally (some behind the scenes info.) We also fulfil the online orders that our customers place. Resellers don’t compete with one another, but work in teams to deliver an excellent service under the guidance of Exigo Care.
As a reseller I am so thankful to Exigo Care for the role they have played in my life and I know I speak on behalf of all the resellers. This year has been one challenge after the other with the pandemic causing chaos in many lives. Many families suffered a loss of income during lockdown and some people even lost their jobs. Providing us with good quality nappies at incredible prices eased the financial burden on many South African families. The income we as resellers generated from selling nappies has also tide many resellers over during these difficult times. Our Exigo Care directors have shown a lot of love and compassion towards the resellers over this time and, I can truly say that this year has brought us closer together as an Exigo Care family.
We are so grateful to Exigo Care for their guidance when it came to obtaining permits and ensuring stock availability despite the difficulties they faced with imports and exports. We are grateful to the friendly truck drivers who bravely did what they needed to do to make sure that we as resellers received our stock across the inter-provincial borders. We are grateful to the warehouse for ensuring that safe and clean packing procedures were always in place. We are grateful to the admin office for keeping us up to date and for evenly distributing stock. So much has been done behind the scenes and we would just like to say thank you!
Most importantly, we would like to say thank you to all our loyal customers. Thank you for your support and loyalty towards the Hi Baby brand. All over Facebook there are the most amazing reviews from parents who adore the Hi Baby brand. We want you to know that we appreciate you!
Until Next Year (holding thumbs),
